Amazing for dry hair

There is a minimal clean light scent that does not smell bad in any way. The scent is hardly noticeable. It improves the moisture level, heals my dry tangled hair and soothes my itchy dry scalp. My hair feels light and soft after. For extremely dry hair, you will probably still need a conditione...r or detangler initially but after a few uses, you can rely less on them becuase it heals and balances the moisture level in hair. Amazingly does not weigh hair down. My hair was hard to brush from being dried and tangled but not after this shampoo. It healed my issue so well, I actually do not need to use it as frequently (daily or 3 times a week works either way) and can use a more stripping shampoo in between to get rid of oils and build up. Reviews on other retailer's site are all raves and positives and with my own real experience, I do not understand the strange negative reviews on Ulta's site. Again this shampoo is for very dehydrated hair that lacks moisture. If you have normal or oily hair, this is not the right shampoo for you. Only downside is the cap/pump is poor quality so be careful not to screw it on too tight or it will crack completely splitting in half which is what happened to me on a brand new backup bottle and has never happened on a new shampoo before (old bottle yes due to wear and tear but not a brand new bottle). But if you don't screw it tight enough, it will leak.
