How To Use

Apply to soaking wet hair after washing. Rake through to ensure you are evenly coating all strands, then use the "praying hands" method to smooth locks down, seal the moisture in and tame the cuticles. For best results, follow with stylers from the Volume Recipe and air dry or diffuse.

This may be the holy grail

I have very fine, high porosity, medium-high density, 3B-3C curls. The challenge for me is finding a leave-in that provides significant moisture and definition/clumping without weighing my hair down. Sprays and milks either don't provide enough moisture or separate my strands too much. I've been usi...

Awful scent - not sure the benefits are worth it

I have loved every Curlsmith product I've used so far, but this one was a shocking miss for me. My main issue is the strong, unpleasant scent of the product. I mistakenly assumed this would smell as great as the other Curlsmith products I have, but I was wrong. And it doesn't dissipate over time. I ...

Disappointed

I bought this after using the shampoo and conditioner from the volume line. I read that the leave-in was an essential step in the routine. I skipped purchasing the leave-in initially because I normally stay away from those as they weigh down my fine hair. I should have listened to my instincts because yes, this weighed down my hair and made it feel producty. I'll try a pea sized amount next time. Hopefullly that will help.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

SMELLS SO GOOD

I have a LOT of very fine, 2b hair and I have noticed it does keep my hair soft without weighing it down. It isnt the longest lasting leave in ive used, but i keep buying it because it is the best smelling hair product ive ever smelled in. My. Life. Like. Checked out the full ingredient list to see what was making it smell so good but all I found was "fragrance"… lol. Looked up to see if there was a reddit post of people who thought the same thing, THAT'S how good it smells. Sends me to space. Anyways, good enough in function, cosmic smell, will keep buying for the rest of my life.

10/10, I was skeptical about purchasing this product after reading some reviews and it had me questioning myself if it would be the right product to buy for my curls. So I decided to take the Curl Quiz on the CurlSmith website which I recommend taking before purchasing any products, it really helps. This was one of the recommendations and I was definitely happy with my results after trying this product. This product really helped my curls come back to life and it really smells so good! My Curls came out looking more defiend and hydrated. :)

Perfect for 2C hair

Hair Type Wavy Hair

As a kid my hair was only slightly wavy, but as I've aged it's gotten whiter and curlier. My hair is now over 50% white, and when I cut several inches off it went from moderately wavy to a mix of S curls and ringlets. After struggling for a few days a sample of this was included with a previous order, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The product is not too heavy for my hair, and it gives it the moisture it needs. Between this and a new curl cream my hair is shiny, curly, and no longer crazy frizzy. I love it.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
