- Apply ORLY Bonder basecoat.
- Apply a thin first coat of the magnetic polish and let dry.
- Apply a second coat and hold the magnet directly over the nail for about 3-5 seconds before it dries to reveal your design. Allow to dry.
- Finish with your favorite ORLY topcoat.

Gorgeous, but has a learning curve
I'm actually so pleased with this stuff!!! I've been wanting a cats eye to do at home, but it's all gel, and I stay away from that for health reasons, so when I saw this stuff, I knew I had to try it! The video in the product gallery is very helpful for application, but there's still a bit of a learning curve. I can honestly say this is the prettiest nail polish I've ever done on myself! Hold the brush more parallel to your nail than perpendicular, and do a thin-medium first coat on all nails, both hands. The first nail you did will be properly dry by this point, then, ONE NAIL AT A TIME you can go in with a medium-thick coat. Then, hold the magnet over your nail for a solid 3-5 Mississippi seconds. If you only hold the magnet at an angle on a third of your nail, it'll be easier to see it work, what it looks like, and how you may want to do it different on other nails. Your first attempt might not look like what you hoped, and mine certainly did, I'm still thrilled! I may try to get one of the magnets that go with the cats eye gel to see if that's easier to control and provides a stronger effect, but I have no idea if it'll work or not 😅 I did not find the drying time to be long, and I finished with the Kur High Gloss Top Coat.
Not what I hoped for
For the price, I expected something more. Looked for help videos online, but Orly has none. The one application video shows a wand, not the ring magnet.
Not good product
Magnet doesn't work. Only thing good about it is the color also takes forever to dry.
