Received this free little sample and immediately wanted to try it on. I rinsed my hands off with just water so I wouldn't alter the smell with that of hand soap. 2 slight sprays onto my wrist and the scent hit me. Not a lot of fragrances have wisteria in them. I think that's what makes this fragrance feel different and me drawn to it. I love tonka and vanilla which is in this fragrance.

Gucci Guilty Elixir de Parfum Pour Femme smells very dense and evening-like to me. It has that enveloping kind of softness, where the scent feels heavy, smooth, and rich at the same time. It is not a fresh or easy perfume. It leaves a noticeable trail and feels made for colder days, when you want something warm and full around you. The floral heart with wisteria, rose, and osmanthus sits on a soft but weighty base of vanilla, tonka, and patchouli, which gives it that thick texture. For me, this is much better in cool or cold weather. In heat, it can easily feel too strong.

I got this scent as a tester in an Ulta fragrance box and wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. The big bottle is even better than the tester. I get so many compliments!

This perfume has a very unique, elegant scent. I like to use this in the fall/winter seasons. The scent is long lasting and not overwhelming. Packaging looks luxurious too
