Wanted to Obsess
At first, I was so excited to wear a full face of Naked Sundays on my trip at Disney World. Awful, nasty taste
I love the naked Sundays tint so I thought I'd give this a try. Lips need spf too, but OMG this is just gross. Without licking lips the awfulness seeps into your mouth and lasts long after you wipe it off. Wish I could return it but I'll just be throwing it away..
Formula is decent but the rest....
Applicator is weird...flimsy, flat and bends...so its difficult to apply, and the TASTE, yuck, and the scent I picked isn't my favorite either. I know its difficult to find a good high SPF lip product without the taste....but I have found 2 brands that make glosses with minimal to zero taste, so I'm going to have to stick to those. Formula is decent...but nothing to write home about so doesn't make the rest worth it.
TASTES HORRIBLE!!!!
After applying lip oil, a little bit got in my mouth and it was disgusting. I had to wipe it off my lips!! TASTES GROSS!!
Bad taste, weird applicator
I love Naked Sundays products and picked up the Caramel flavor of this when it was on sale. First, not sure if it was just mine but the applicator is kind of weird, it's a flat paddle like fuzzy applicator that doesn't pick up a lot of product. Then the fuzzy applicator is not stiff, it bends where the doe foot meets the plastic which makes it really odd to try and apply because it's bending all over the place as you're trying to put it on your lips. Then, the taste is just really bad. I'm not usually picky about that kind of stuff and it's not even like an up front taste but within a few minutes you will have the weirdest chemical aftertaste in your mouth. Such a bummer because the formula is great and high SPF!
Hydrated, protected lips
I have been using this lip oil this entire Summer into Fall season and it has been an essential in my bag. I take it everywhere with me. Not only does it keep my lips hydrated, but it makes them look super glossy and best of all, has spf protection so my lips are not damaged in the sun. I really love that it has multiple benefits so I don't have to carry so many different items. It is pretty sheer but does have a very sheer color payoff. I find it very comfortable to wear and easy to apply. It is lightweight and has the perfect amount of slick. I love to line my lips and just use this lip oil on top. Beautiful look! I have Salted Caramel shown in my photos but I also have the other shade too.
