Asked by mamacita 503
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Hi there, Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is meant as a leave-on treatment. You would apply in the evening, and continue with your regular morning regimen the next day. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
does this help stretch marks? like make them light and now bring red?
Asked by shhhidk
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner has been tested for use on the face, neck, and scalp. It can also exfoliate areas of the body experiencing rough and bumpy skin. However, we do not recommend applying this product to covered areas of the body such as the inner thighs or underarms, as these areas may have more sensitive skin, and the natural occlusion of these regions may make them more prone to irritation. We have not tested this product for use on stretch marks. We'd recommend consulting with a physician for further guidance. Was this answer helpful to you

Chemical Scalp Exfoliant - Helps Manage Dandruff & Oils

I use this product for "other than the intended purpose". Skin care is important to me, but I struggle with psoriasis/dermatitis which sometimes results in dandruff and a rough patch behind one ear. In the past I have tried glycolic acid for my face and it was terrible. More than just a purging, it...

Not a bad product, my skin just didn't care for it

Product came with 2 options to apply them with: a squirtle or a regular top lid thingy. I chose the squirtle and I'd spritz it on a bottom pad and swept across my face. It would sting me. I thought my skin was just not used to it. This was one of the first products I purchased when I got into skinca...

tried so hard to love it

Honestly I'm not sure if I was using this product correctly, but i will say that as someone who gave this stuff multiple tried (3 bottles to be exact) it just doesn't work for my skin. I first tried to use it on my face, which led to redness and irritation even when i only used it on a cotton round as a toner. I tried layering every which way but I genuinely think it only worsened the minor breakouts I tried applying it to. I used it fairly regularly on my underarms and on any body acne, which sometimes led to burning and more irritation as well. I can't say that it lightened my underarms at all but i will say i think it helped with odor and had antibacterial effects! Overall a fantastic product just not for me :(

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

So many uses!

This stuff is the G.O.A.T. Its got a multitude of uses. Yes its a toner, it will help cleanse the oil from a dirty face, and keep oils at bay on a clean face, but can be used as a mild exfoliant, its great for cell turnover, if you have strawberry bumps you can apply to those areas to help with that. You can use it under your arms to kill the bacteria that causes foul smells, and if you have an oily scalp you can use this as a not so dry shampoo by applying to a cotton round and wiping down your scalp. I will ALWAYS KEEP MULTIPLE BOTTLES ON HAND AND RECOMMEND TO ALL THE PEOPLE I LOVE AND CARE ABOUT. I promise EVERYONE in this would would benefit from using this, in one way or another.

AMAZING for scalp!!

I love this stuff so much!! I used to have a really oily scalp and from detox shampoos to hair training, nothing helped. But THIS has been a game changer. I massaged this in my scalp and let it sit for 15-30 minutes before washing and it makes my hair feel so clean, soft, and shiny like I just got my hair washed at the salon. 100% recommend!!!

I love using this on my scalp 15-20 minutes before showering and I absolutely love this product. It has helped me with my dandruff, and scalp health. I also use this on my armpits and it has helped with my BO. Such a versatile product! love it!
