fine if you ran out of something better

i tried this because i like the quality of holo taco polishes, so my expectations were a little high. i knew it probably wouldn't be as good as my go-to (poshé top coat - THE BEST, seche vite is awful in comparison), but i wasn't expecting it to be so disappointing. GLOSS FACTOR: it looks great fo...r like, 1-minute. it's super thin, which sure i guess is great for doing multiple coats, but who wants to do that? once you start living your life, it just looks dull. poshé literally looks like like a clear coat of epoxy resin. the shine doesn't fail, its juicy and glossy for weeks. SPEED: not bad, but that's mostly do to the fact that it is SO THIN. my poshé dries faster while leaving a substantial coat. HARDNESS: none. how can it? it's water thin. poshé makes my nails virtually indestructible (paint the edges and underneath if your nails are long enough, and they will never chip, ever. CHIPS: honestly can't say, because the way i paint my nails prevents chips from ever happening. i paint underneath and the edges, with every coat from base to finish, fully encapsulating my otherwise sharp claws. so by the time i get to the topcoat, there's at least 2 layers of polish. i go over the edges and tip with my base coat with multiple layers so it has a visible coating on the edges (opi natural nail basecoat), which once polished, disappears and looks flawless. so yeah. i honestly can't say. also, i wipe my nails with alcohol swabs prior to polishing, and if a coat dries and if i live my life a little (eat snacks, play with dog, use hand lotion) before adding another coat, i'll alcohol swab them again. THICKNESS: poshé needs just one coat over super chunky glitters and textured polishes to create a smooth even coat. like it self levels itself, even if you didn't apply it all that great (it dries FAST so you can't over work it, or go back and forth, just do a thick coat and let it chill. you would need MULTIPLE coats of this before creating a perfectly smooth nail surface. again, i LOVE holo taco nail polishes. they do not disappoint. but you can find equivalent if not better top coats at the dollar store. i'll say this - because it do thin, it's my go to polish when my nylons rip. so it's still useful!
