The new Glimmer Perfect Duo Parfum Set would make a perfect gift for the upcoming holidays or any special occasion for anyone who enjoys warm floral fragrances. I usually find sweet gourmand perfumes way too heavy, but this one gets it exactly right. It opens with a juicy burst of raspberry mousse and dries down into the prettiest mix of rose macarons, warm vanilla, and amber. It basically smells like a luxury French dessert, but in a totally chic, grown-up way. I put it on in the morning before work and by the end of my shift I was STILL getting compliments. I really wanted to love Glimmer by Estée Lauder, but unfortunately, this fragrance wasn't for me. At first, I found the scent a bit too strong. However, once it dried down, it became so subtle that I could barely notice I was wearing perfume. Personally, I prefer fragrances with a more noticeable scent. I absolutely love Estée Lauder and have other perfumes from the brand that I've repurchased more than three times! While I wouldn't purchase Glimmer for myself, I would definitely consider gifting it to someone who enjoys this type of fragrance.
