Hello. Is it normal for this product to burn during application? I had done a quick cleans with some manual exfoliation prior to using this product to second cleanse and experienced burning? I'm hoping it's just because of the exfoliation I did prior to. I didn't realize until after that this product does have mild chemical exfoliation in it😳. BTW, Lancome is one of my top brands, I really hope its user error 😔.

I use the Lancome Crème Mousse Confort Creamy Foaming Cleanser. But want to double cleanse with a make up remover. Can I use the Milky Creme Cleanser before the Confort Creamy Cleanser or do they do the same thing?

We recommend using an oil-based cleanser first to remove makeup and impurities from the skin, following that with a foaming cleanser. We recommend trying our Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover, and then cleansing with our Crème Radiance Cream to Foam Cleanser for oily skin, or our Mousse Radiance Cleanser for dryer skin types. I was left with smudgy, smeary raccoon eyes. So then I would put more of this cleanser on, try all over again and it still would not remove my make up. One time I even used a toner with cotton pads to see how much make up was left, and it was just alarming! Yuck. I wanted something gentle, but if it's not effective why bother? I would say the milky creaminess of this feels so good on your skin…. It is very soothing. So, that said, if you need something very gentle and don't wear make up or apply it extremely light? Then this might be for you. I am throwing away about 3/4 of this pump, and I feel like I've washed my money down the drain with the cleanser.
