Shake well. Section hair and apply product in a sweeping motion to dirty and oily areas. Wait 30 seconds for the powders to activate cooling and cleansing effects. Remove excess powder by massaging and shaking at roots with fingers or brush. Shake and repeat if necessary. Apply before bed for oil absorption while you sleep.

Made my hair color fade
I really love how this cleans greasy hair but it's definitely not color safe. I've used it on my hot pink dyed hair (professionally done with Pulp Riot dye) and within a few days the color has faded. I go about 5-7 days between washes and use color safe shampoo on wash days as well as color deposit ...

I would buy this product again
If you're looking for a dry shampoo that effectively absorbs oil without leaving your hair feeling gritty, this one is a great choice. The scent is light and not overpowering, making it perfect for everyday use. Once worked into the hair, it blends nicely, leaving no chalky residue. Out of the three versions I tried, the original was my favorite.
Stiff hair
It left my hair feeling stiff, almost like covered with sand, and left a white cast that was impossible to brush. I also struggled to completely wash it off, so you still feel the stiffness. It made my hair look worse so I don't recomend it.

This dry shampoo is made of charcoal powder and 7% activated cleansing powders. This makes this a deeply cleansing dry shampoo that absorbs oil and odors for clean, refreshed hair between washes. Perfect for very oily hair and scalp, or post-workout sweat. To use you spray onto roots in sections, wait 30 seconds, massage until powder disappears. Overall, I was really impressed with my after workout refreshed hair when I used this dry shampoo. I wasn't really sure what to expect with this one but I am happy to say that it worked well on my roots to refresh my hair. Now, I do have curly 3A hair that I style with mousse and flexible hold hairspray at the beginning of my days. All that might help my results after using the dry shampoo (I'm not really sure) but I made sure to maintain my curls the best I could by only touching the roots and then wet my fingers to redefine the curls if I needed to on the day's I had plans after my workout.
