beautiful look !
I love my sk8 with destiny nail polish and have used my nail polish 3 times since receiving . I enjoy using the nail polish and only wish it lasted a bit longer . once applied the lasting is not expected but it over all does the job .

Check the brush first!
Do yourself a favor and check the brush before you buy any Essie polish. Essie is known to me as the brand with the worst brushes. They are always curved but uneven, inconsistent, bent sideways, have stray bristles hanging out, and barely ever straight. This color was beautiful but I literally cannot use it because of thr brush. One side is straight, the other has a rounded curve that is unnatural to the nail shape, and the entire bristle clump is bent sideways. Always have to stand there and open every bottle to check the brush, and every brush I went through was faulty. Its like this with every Essie polish. This color is beautifulbut the "flesh tone" description is very inaccurate. Beautiful coverage with two coats and perfect color for fall, however, its impossible to use due to the brush so its a useless product. Will try to exchange next time I go to Ulta.

Word on the Street
Word on the Street is a robin's egg blue. The picture makes it look more like a neon blue, which is what I wanted. It's a nice color (looks cute on toes), but not what I wanted. It's my own fault, I suppose, for buying nail polish online. The brush is bent a bit, making it awkward to find a good angle to use. Overall, I'm disappointed in the color and quality of the brush and will probably steer clear of Essie in the future as the other colors from this brand are also not as pictured.
Different colors, different opacity
I have the mint green and black shades of this with no issues. Enjoy those. These DO dry very quickly. I can do my at-home mani in about an hour total without a fan. The three stars is bc I recently purchased Don't Hate, Curate (the mustard/golden yellow) and it was abysmally thin. I used it on my toes and while it did dry decently fast and has stayed put for a week and a half, it just looks bad on my nails. I did a base coat and a top coat and they didn't help. The formula for this shade in particular is thin and gives patchy, uneven coverage. I would have needed a third coat (I did two) of color to get full opacity from this shade. It's also not very smoothing. Even with a base coat and top coat, the polish itself is so thin my ridges and texture show through starkly, even emphasized by the thin coverage. Don't buy this shade. I expect this quality out of Sinful Colors, not Essie. I'll be returning mine for a refund.
