I literally cannot believe all the negative reviews on here all bc people dont know how to sharpen a darn eyeliner pencil?!! Are they serious?? Invest in a GOOD sharpener (made frm german steel frm amazon, cheap) I bought the rich brown color bc black would prob be too harsh. It's the best eyeliner...

The product package did not indicate it was an eye pencil that had to have a sharpener- I never buy those kind, so I think your packaging is not clearly enough described. I liked the liner product itself- so intense! But you can't use it long bc it does not keep a point- and apparently you cannot sh...

After only two or three uses, it's ready for the garbage. There is no way to twist it for more product!!! What you see is ALL you get. Horribly expensive for that reason.

The eyeliner itself is awesome. I have extremely oily eyelids and work outdoors in the heat frequently, and it stays in place for most of the day. Very creamy, smooth, and heavily pigmented, so I can breeze through my morning makeup routine. It's just blendable enough that if I want to blend out a mistake or turn it into a smoky eye, I can do so pretty easily. However, like others have pointed out, it's terribly designed. The plastic casing makes it so frustrating to sharpen it, and no sharpener will evenly shave the edges down to create a point because the plastic catches in the blade. Also, the actual eyeliner seems loose inside the wood/plastic casing, if that makes sense; it wiggles around in the pencil and breaks super easily after sharpening. I go through it super quickly because I end up over-sharpening it. Please fix the design issues 😭 I love this liner but I'm trying out other brands now.

This is the worst eyeliner I have ever used. It's thick and gummy. I put it on then wipe it all off practically because it gets everywhere except where you want it. Not to mention it's difficult to sharpen. You need a special sharpener.

Since this pencil isn’t mechanical, sharpening is key for the best use. We recommend using the CoverGirl Make-up Masters 3-in-1 Sharpener or a similar sharpener with a smaller hole for precise sharpening. If your sharpener blade feels dull or it’s hard to sharpen, replacing it usually helps. We don’t suggest refrigerating or freezing the pencil, as that can affect its performance.
