I bought these clips because I love the matte finish. I thought these clips would be comparable to the Goody ones I have had for years. My daughter and I both have fine hair. Most clips just don't hold tight enough and hair eventually starts to fall out of the clips. So far, these have been the best we have tried! I would definitely recommend for people with thin/fine hair!
