Perfect balance of sweet and floral
This perfume is so well balanced. You can really smell the different layers as you wear it. It starts off sweet, but not like candy - the pear is definitely there, then the floral comes in, and after a little bit the cedarwood is there which helps it not be too sweet. Its a light fresh scent good fo...

This scent will haunt you
I recieved my travel spray today, sprayed it, and then wondered if my body has a symptomless disease causing my skin's pH to go haywire. To check my sanity, I asked my girlfriend to smell my new perfume when she got home as I acted neutral and smiled, not giving my opinion. She smelled the bottle and immediately her nose wrinkled up and she said gross. I then gave her two cheaper VS perfumes to smell - Very Sexy and Daring - and she said those are both good. I bought Dylan Blue because I read it's similar to my favorite perfume (discontinued) Ralph Lauren Hot. It has all the same notes I love… in writing. The first scent was brown sugar that has been sitting in a paper bag in the pantry since the 90's. Zero fruitiness. Also some distant childhood memory I still can't place. Not necessarily bad if you focus just on the brown sugar, but then there's a darker smell lurking behind it… a tainted version of that unique smell made by melanin forming after the tanning bed when not masked by lotion. Not in a good way like summertime, not "Hey hun, I just went tanning so I'm a bit sweaty, but you can hug me." It is more like boiling flesh. Bacteria swirling in a murky pool of liquified collagen. How else can I describe it? Its like you're dreaming of a pleasant childhood memory with a loved one you miss - they feel so real and close - you are so happy that at first you ignore the dark gas creeping into the scene through your gaps in consciousness, ominously swirling around your feet and darkening the room as your loved one begins to float further and further away. When you try to reach out for them, a cloaked figure emerges, trapping you. You wish you could wake up but you resign yourself to the inner-knowing that they will feed off the last strands connecting you to innocence until satiated. How can I be the only reviewer to experience this? I've looked all over the internet… "Fresh, fruity, clean, youthful, sweet, my boyfriend loved it, such a rip off because it doesnt last long enough." C'est la vie. This scent will haunt you.
