These are coated with a coarse and uneven gritty substance. It scratches the nails and feels awful against the finger edge. Pointy tip but too abrasive

The pointed tip retains its shape for several uses and works well cleaning under nails or removing wet polish near the nail bed. I find the other slanted side to be too abrasive and rough, even with a light hand; I use it sparingly with cuticle oil to help buff away cuticles and file away any roughness on my nail.

I love these manicure sticks. I bought mine several months ago, and with 2x/weekly use, they are still sharp and usable. (I just wipe the tip with acetone and they're fresh again.) I find these so handy for cleanup before I use my cleanup brush. I highly recommend!
