Smells delightful, foams nicely

I received the method dream foam body wash in the dark cherry raspberry scent from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. I used it in place of my regular body wash (Dove Intensive Moisture) for 2 weeks. Obviously, these are 2 very different formats--a foaming body wash vs. a creamy one--but I... didn't change anything else about my routine so I could evaluate it just like if I'd bought it myself. FORMAT/TEXTURE: As someone who typically prefers a creamier texture in body wash, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't find it drying at all. I wouldn't necessarily say it's super moisturizing, but I didn't feel that it dried my skin out like foaming hand soaps do. I would've preferred a thicker, richer foam, but it did lather very nicely. Like most foaming soaps, I feel like it gets used up faster than gels/creams, but that's expected. SCENT: I loved the scent! I feel like this combination is not common in personal care products, but I love cherry flavors and scents so it was right up my alley. In applying each pump, lighter raspberry notes hit my nose first, followed by a deeper cherry scent. If I had to describe its brightness, where white florals and grassy notes are brightest & dark, woody/musky scents are the darkest, I'd put it about in the middle, maybe a tad bit on the darker side compared to what you'd normally see in a body wash, but still pleasantly light. The label promises a "long-lasting scent," which was an unusual claim to see on a body wash. Body wash scents don't usually last on me--after a shower I can often smell my shampoo & deodorant, but not body wash. This is where I have to ding it: I didn't find that the scent really lasted on me after a shower. This was not a negative for me personally, because I'm not used to that & don't seek out products with that effect, but I also didn't feel that it lived up to the stated claim. Overall, I enjoyed this product, felt it generally performed well, & would consider buying it again!!
