To cover rosacea and scarring I've used L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte in Shell Beige 102, and Lancome Dual Finish Foundation Powder in 220 Buff II (Cool). They're no longer providing enough coverage. Is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Max Cover Camouflage foundation more opaque than those two and, if so, which shade would be the closest match to the ones I listed. Thank you.

Is this waterproof on its own, and if not, would it be waterproof if I used setting powder? Also would it smudge or transfer? And could I put sunscreen over it?

- Official Answer By Estee Lauder USThank you for your question. Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Foundation for Face and Body SPF15 is water-proof on it's own. The coverage is full and there is no need to set this Foundation with a Powder. If you like to apply Powder, a loose formula like Estee Lauder Sheer Flattery Loose Powder, would be best. The Foundation is longwearing but not transfer-resistant. If you want to add additional sunscreen, we recommend applying the sunscreen under the Foundation rather than over it.Was this answer helpful to you

It is not a transfer-resistant formula, however. I absolutely loved this product! It made my skin feel smooth and radiant. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin hydrated without any greasiness. Highly recommend!
FINALLY my foundation
I have finally found my perfect foundation. THIS STUFF FEELS LIGHT AS AIR, YET COVERS EVRYTHING! I have broken capillaries, spots, etc. this covers everything. it is expensive but you hardly need alot at all. U already ordered one more as i am done trying new. this is it for me. PLEASE DONT EVER STOP MAKING THIS.

This foundation is the holy grail of foundation!!! Yes, it's thick and if you use too much it can look cakey…BUT just a dab covers the worst scars and leaves your face looking absolutely flawless all day long. Not only that but it feels absolutely weightless on your face. It truly is the only foundation I'll ever use!

I've only written 2 reviews my whole life without being asked to do a review. I have vitiligo and have struggled to find a product to cover spots on my hands and feet. This product is amazing! A very nice Estee Lauder Sales Associate at Dillards @ Atlantic Station helped me find the perfect color match and the product does last all day on my hands and feet. A little goes a long way. My only question is where has this product been all my life!

I purchased this product some years ago to help with some rather large hyperpigmentation areas on my face. I was amazed how this product covered the entire area evenly and the shade was perfect for my complexion. I recommend this product to everyone who has hyperpigmentation issues, especially people of color who struggle with finding foundation shades. Just as a side note, I use it on the affected areas and not my entire face. It's proven very effective.
