Helps to lay my 4C hair
I have bought several Pattern products and in general I have liked the quality. This brush was no exception. It works just as well as my old school boar bristle brush that I still have from the 90s. I will say when you first clean the brush the grip is not as good but as you ise it day by day it hel...

Great for 4C hair
I love this brush for my 4C hair. It lays my edges every time. I've had the brush for a year. I gently cleaned the bristles and it broke in half for some odd reason. I'm immediately buying another.
You might be able to find better for less money.
I always feel awkward holding this brush. There's something about the handle that makes it hard to grip which makes it hard to use. The bristle length might have something to do with it. I usually end up using it from gripping the sides of the top to brush my hair into puffs. It's not bad, but not worth the price. Might be easy for a second person to use on someone else's head, but it's not comfortable to me. I hardly ever reach for it and ended up not returning it because it was one of the only brushes for my hair type sold at Ulta at the time.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I was really hopeful about this brush, but after just 7 months, it cracked completely in half while I was brushing my 4c hair. That's when things got worse—small bristles started coming loose and got stuck in my hair, making detangling a nightmare. I've also noticed that it doesn't grip as well as regular wooden coarse brushes. The handle feels flimsy, and it doesn't give the same control when working through my hair. Unfortunately, this product didn't live up to my expectations, and I wouldn't recommend it for those with thicker or coarser hair types.

Best brush for type 4
I really like this brush! I have THICK 4a hair that does not like to lay flat at all but this brush has miraculously smoothed my hair. I have an easier time putting my hair in buns and puffs now. I'm so grateful.
A must have!!!
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
This is by far the best hair brush I've purchased in a few years. As a natural, it lays/ sleeks my hair down with ease. Very gentle on the hair.
