My hair seemed to laugh at me. "You think this strong rose smelling stiff is going to help tame me?" I have a lot of thick, coarse, curly, wave, coil hair. And this was no help.

I have 2c/3a curly/wavy hair that is very frizzy and it has been hard to find products that actually moisturize my hair -- they either aren't moisturizing enough or they're way too heavy for my hair. I randomly came across California Naturals when I went into an Ulta store and was intrigued. I grabbed the hair mask on a whim and WOW! Immediately when I put it in my hair I noticed a difference. This gave my hair great slip and and when I rinsed it out, there was practically no wet frizz left (which is usually a problem for me). Even after drying my hair, it felt so soft and my waves and curls were nice and defined without being overly frizzy. I love love love this product and will be repurchasing this one!

Tip via a helpful hairstylist: You maybe DON'T WANT OLAPLEX if you don't dye your hair. I made that very mistake, and it slowly dried my strands into hay. My stylist suggested ditching the synthetic proteins in Olaplex (which are specifically intended to strengthen *processed* hair), and to look for plant-derived ingredients instead. Her general advice led me to buy this. I was pretty ready to be disappointed by yet another product with earthy-crunchy branding... but instead I'm leaving my first review bc I was so pleasantly surprised. Feels straight up *silky* going on, and leaves my hair hydrated and happy.

It works great! very moisturizing and you dont need a lot. Smells Great and feels fresh. I wouldnt recommend to do all the time but days where your hair feel extra dry and frizzy ! 💖
