Massage a dime-size amount onto dry skin, then emulsify with water and continue to massage until balm turns milky. Rinse with warm water and gently pat dry. Use AM and/or PM on the entire face (it's safe for eye makeup removal).

SEVERE REACTION
Context: I have been a professional MUA since 2009, regularly use oil based products, and have CLEAR SKIN. This left my face covered in pustules after a handful of uses. I had to get an antibiotic and steroid cream and my entire face has welts!
AWSOME!
Great for combination skin, and doesn't leave a tightness after using it. It melts the makeup up off my skin and then leaves it smelling like peppermint, which I know not everyone likes, but I love! It's helped with my breakouts and getting all the stubborn makeup, especially mascara, off!
Pleasantly surprised
I bought the travel size to throw in my airline toiletries bag, but just recently used it for the first time after running out of my expensive staple. The scent is clean and soothing and it removed my makeup just as well as my go to balm that's more than twice as much.

I really wanted to love this product because I've used Versed products since the beginning but their cleansing balm has never been my favorite. It's greasy which is good for getting off makeup, sweat, and sunscreen but it feels like it never really comes off. It feels like there's always some leftover residue on my face, even after washing it off with water and following it up with a cleanser. Whenever I go back to it, I always end up breaking out which is unfortunate. I've heard it works well for others, though! So it could just be me.
