The shampoo isn't my favorite. It did make my hair shiny, smooth, and moisturized without weighing it down or making it greasy like most oil based shampoo products do. The scent is what got me. terribly drying
I had high hopes for this shampoo and conditioner. I used these once and my hair was left very dry and straw-like. I have natural salt and pepper hair that is very soft. I returned the shampoo ad conditoner the next day. I told the clerk my experience and she told me her Aunt had the same experience. If you have heat damaged or normally dry hair I would not recommend this combo.
Smells amazing
This smells wonderful! It also cleanses my hair nicely. I never get product build-up. The quality is fantastic for the price. Im pretty picky with shampoo and this is a great one!
Not a fan
This shampoo made my hair fall out as soon as I started using it. Thankfully I noticed that this shampoo was the cause after about a month of using it.

Its just your run of the mill shampoo it's not worth it's price tag it gets the job done without creating tangles but if you told me this was a dove shampoo I would believe you.

I have thick, long, dyed hair. I am normally a die hard Joico girly but have been wanting to try the Dark Oil line. It went on sale so I thought why not and bought the shamp/condit. I used maybe a quarter sized amount of shampoo and BABY did it lather up. I literally could run my fingers through my hair with ONLY the shampoo. I used the same amount of conditioner and it is so silky. The smell is also good but not overpowering, which I like. I am officially converted!
