I tried this gel with the Joico curls like us cream and I looked like the model in the "before" picture, dry and frizzy, no definition. I'm glad it was on sale because I lost the receipt and couldn't return it. Curlsmith and not your mothers products are way better.

Finally what I was looking for
First, I have tried a thousand products. I have fine 2b 3a waves and curls, most things are too heavy for my hair and lighter products don't hold enough. This product gives me hold without the crispy hair. Just a little crisp. I put it in without towel drying and get a good squish I use a little curl cream on top and then use my microfiber towel to squish some more. Let air dry or difuse and it's perfect once dried.
Better than expected results, but not perfect
It provides a firm hold for my fine curly hair. It also washes out very easily when I co-wash, which is a must in my hair care routine. The results look nice and are long lasting, but my hair does feel a bit crispy afterwards.

I had to have the full size so instead of waiting for it to hit the shelves in stores... I ordered online! This product plays so well with my fine 3a/b curls. And when I wash it out - it comes out of my hair without any side effects. I am super happy with this gel & the cream.... Joico - u rule! Thank u so much for making this. I'm loving my hair & my hair is loving Joico
