Very adequate for the price
4B coily with higher-porosity hair. I was looking for a conditioner that would slip and define curls. This slips nicely and definitey defines my curls!! Not for me
Overall, I was happy to find a product that didn't contain coconut oil as it irritates the heck out of my scalp. However, this product leaves my hair extremely dry and oily at the same time. For contexts, I have 3c curly hair and I only use gel occasionally. Now, my hair feels like straw and my root...

Never again
Tried this because they were out of my usual conditioner at the local ulta. My 4a/b/c hair feels like hay and is tangled within days of using it. I've tried it a few times fo give it a chance and end up with my curls looking like a frizzy mess by day 3 every time.
Intense Moisture

I have tried almost all the shampoo & conditioners in Odele's lineup. All are great but this one is definitely a winner for me! I have sensitivity concerns as well as thick, dry, coarse curly hair. I have tried high-end and drugstore, I truly believe more people with my same hair concerns should run not walk to this product! Also, this should be a bulk item in the future Odele!

4B coily with higher-porosity hair. I was looking for a conditioner that would slip and define curls. This slips nicely and definitey defines my curls!! But is not the most moisturizing conditioner.. you'll unfortunately need to follow up with a deep conditioner/mask if you have super dry hair. Another pro is that it doesn't break off my hair as much as other conditioners do.. most likely from the slip ingredient and added proteins. Ouidad claims to be "salon-quality" and I can honestly agree, the ingredients may look simple but the formula is very effective at what it does. This conditioner isn't trying to be a mask or styler or anything else, it just wants to be a conditioner; a rinse-off product that makes hair more managable after cleansing. This is meant to be paired with a regimen and not a standalone product.. hence it's salon-grade label. One more pro is the price, it's really hard to beat. The biggest con is that it's shadowed by competition, Odele being the 8 while other conditioners are a 9 or 10. People nowadays want 2-in-1 conditioners that style, double as a mask, are chock-full of oils and defines. A good example is PATTERN's conditioner for coily hair. Odele needs other products to support it and some people expect it to serve more than one purpose but if that's not an issue for you then this is a FANTASTIC formula. Effective and simple. Very unlikely you'll get irritated from it due to it's natural fragrance and relatively simple ingredient list.
decent for the price
for the price, its a good conditioner. it wasnt as hydrating or nourishing as many conditioners are. dont use if you have dry hair.
