Do you necessarily have to wash off in circular motion with washcloth or can l just pat off because l have sensitive skin?
- Asked by Carebear
- Official Answer By NAIR - Brand EngageThank you for your inquiry, no you do not have to go in circles and gently patting the area is ok, just be mindful that a patch test is to be done before every use and the patch test should be done 24 hours before the actual time you want to use it. When washing off the Nair product we do not want to rub hard or irritate the skin in any way.Was this answer helpful to you

If you use it properly it will work
Don't try to do this in a rush. I recommend prior to using for best results: wash your face with a moisturizing face wash, GENTLY exfoliate (areas you're using the Nair), and last- keep a lukewarm cloth for a few minutes over the areas you plan on using the cream (to soften to hair). This is a solid...

I had this product for fine hairs on my upper lip, chin, and a few fine cheek hairs. I followed instructions thoroughly left on for 5 mins, when I went to wipe off with a wash cloth OMG lets just say my face felt like it was on a stove being cooked!! Once I finally got it all off I screamed when I t...

Chemical burns
I used the product as instructed. I used Nair years ago and never had any reaction. Used this and my entire chin is burned so badly it looks like I have road rash on my face. Even better, it only removed my skin, not any of the actual hair.
I recommend 10/10!!
I have very light colored hair and started noticing a little on my cheeks, chin, and upper lip. I really didn't worry about it until I hit menopause. That's when it got thicker and very noticeable! I saw this and, despite the smell, nair worked great on my legs as a preteen. I gave this a shot and I was so excited to see NO HAIR after my timer went off! Five minutes and my self esteem went through the roof! Yes, it still stinks but it's so worth it!
Not for sensitive skin
Product worked but made skin very irritated for 24hrs. Do not leave on for more than recommended time. I used a thick face cream with ceramides overnight to reduce redness.
Did NOTHING
I've used this a couple times now since I purchased it. I follow the directions to the letter and even tried tips from others online. This product did absolutely nothing for my facial hair. Not a single hair was effected. I have several chin hair's and was looking for a way to get rid of them that was less time consuming that plucking and less pain than waxing and thought this would work. Nope. My hair is dark, but not super thick or coarse. Maybe this only works on extremely light and extremely thin hair. Sure doesn't seem to work on much else.
Chemical Burn Waiting to Happen!!!
I barely had this on my face for a minute before it started to burn like crazy, and when I put water on my face to wash it off, it BURNED so terribly. I have red splotches all over my face and I'm terrified it's going to get worse. This product should absolutely be taken off the shelves. It didn't even remove any hair.
