Smooth on a thick, even layer to cover hair. Wash your hands immediately after applying. Leave cream on for 5 minutes. Check a small area for hair removal. If your hair is thick, you may need more time. (Don't leave on longer than 10 minutes.) Gently wipe off the cream and hair with a damp washcloth. Don't rub. Once all hair has been removed, rinse skin thoroughly with lukewarm water. Pat dry.

Do you necessarily have to wash off in circular motion with washcloth or can l just pat off because l have sensitive skin?

- Official Answer By NAIR - Brand EngageThank you for your inquiry, no you do not have to go in circles and gently patting the area is ok, just be mindful that a patch test is to be done before every use and the patch test should be done 24 hours before the actual time you want to use it. Use cool compresses as needed. Please do not rub the solution into the affected areas as this may cause further irritation. Don't try to do this in a rush. I recommend prior to using for best results: wash your face with a moisturizing face wash, GENTLY exfoliate (areas you're using the Nair), and last- keep a lukewarm cloth for a few minutes over the areas you plan on using the cream (to soften to hair). Product worked but made skin very irritated for 24hrs. Do not leave on for more than recommended time. I used a thick face cream with ceramides overnight to reduce redness.

If the last time you used Nair was in 2005 and you're thinking "maybe their formula has improved in the last twenty years," save your money. Same smell, same burning sensation, same results (none), same rash afterward. On my second try, I accidentally left it on for twenty minutes and the hair was still there. Maybe I'll try again in 2045.

Used on my (none too thick-haired) upper lip, exactly as instructed. Produced a mild but lasting burning sensation, smells caustic, and literally had patchy results. A dry shave with a dull three-blade razor is more comfortable and looks better.
