It's a great palette for people who don't do neutral eyeshadows. The palette is full of fun, bright colors and a great mix of matte and shimmer eyeshadows The casing of the palette might have been my favorite part though, it is made of a nice sturdy plastic that feels incredibly secure and not like it's gonna break on you at a moment's notice. I had a lot of fun playing with looks made by this palette and also think it's color story would be beneficial to cosplayers as well.

I was gifted the Mac Connect in Colour Eyeshadow Palette in exchange for a review. My favorite Shades: If It Ain't Baroque, Starry Night, Carbon, It's Designer, White Frost Design: I will give props to the product designer, that the cover art actually previews the eyeshadows within the palette. I also liked how compact the palette was, while still being able to retain large eyeshadows pans. A lot of the travel palettes, tend to have smaller pans so this was so nice! The shimmers hold up really well and are absolutely gorgeous and sparkly. I appreciated that the palette had so many different shimmery finishes. The color story was also quite cohesive, and you could easily make a look out of the eyeshadows. I'll be honest, I really hate the lack of pigmentation for the matte shades. I do not like buildable formulas. My eyes are partially hooded, and my skin tone ranges from light tan to medium depending on the season, which makes the color almost invisible on my skin as I wear out throughout the day. Buildable formulas take me much longer to build up the color than folks of lighter skin tones. I also found that the matte shades faded away much faster than other matte eyeshadows I have tried from both indie and budget brands (like drugstore or ColourPop). I know my eyes do tend to eat eyeshadow, but even slight rubbing made the matte colors fade more than other eyeshadows I have tried. I feel for a palette called Connect in Colour, the vibrancy of the colors is a little toned down. The color story is definitely more for the average makeup user trying to experiment with color, rather than for us folks who love really bright and almost campy makeup. Final thoughts, I think I'll stick with indie and budget brands for the better pigmentation.

Packaging is cute, colors are nice, I was excited for the glitter eyeshadows but they have very low pigmentation (at least on my tan skin tone), I would recommend this palette for someone starting their makeup journey since colors are vibrant and easily removed with water and a cotton swab

As a makeup artist anything MAC is A+ but these pallets are the perfect size for travel, the colors are pigmented and they blend amazing.

Beautiful and bright colors. Perfect for those who like to stand out and add a splash of color. The draw back is that the shadow smears and leaves you residue. It's not matte or long wear stay. Make sure you dust off the brush and also don't put too much. Pigment could be a bit more blendable and matte in my opinion. But still the colors are great.
