Made my hair feel straw like
This product isn't for me...I wanted to try something new since I always use the matrix miracle creator and figured let's see if this works for me. It did not. Left my hair feeling dry and straw like even after blow drying and straightening. I will go back to miracle creator
Don't buy for fine hair
Purchased this product because of all the reviews and saw online. I used a few times and my hair feels brittle, hard, and not soft. I'm so disappointed.
The best leave-in for my thick, slightly coarse hair
I have been using this leave-in conditioner on-and-off for years and, while I keep trying other products, I always come back to this one. I have very thick hair that is just slightly wavy, and also slightly coarse. The mids and ends of my hair tend to get dry and tangly, so I need leave-in products to add softness and to detangle. I like products with some weight to them, but not so heavy that they build up in my hair. This product does everything I need it to: it conditions my hair so that it's softer, shinier, and super easy to detangle. I've tried many other leave-ins and this is one of the best for detangling. I love that it offers heat protection. The texture is a creamy liquid - heavy enough to condition my hair, but not so heavy it weighs it down or causes build up. It could be too heavy for people with finer hair, though. The only thing I don't love about this is the price. I have a lot of hair so I do go through it somewhat quickly - I look for it on sale to soften the blow. And at the end of the day, it's a multitasking product so it's worth it to me.
New formula is TRASH!!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have been using this leave in conditioner exclusively for the last 3 to 4 years. In that time I have only purchased probably 2 bottles, because I bought the biggest ones and it lasts. The product used to have a very pronounced/strong scent, but it was one I really liked personally, so I was happy with it. The product had a thick consistency and because my hair if pretty fine I would spray maybe 5 pumps into my hands and then apply it to my hair and comb it through. That was perfect for MY hair and it lasted forever. My hair would dry soft and light and let my waves and curls do their thing. I'm a wash a wear girl. I don't blow dry or heat style unless I have someplace nice to be. I bought a new bottle of this about a month ago from ULTA and I am SOOOOOO disappointed!!!! I went through here and read peoples comments about the formula having changed since they changed the branding from the dark purple bottle and it not being as good..... Well, as someone who has ONLY been using it since it has been in the light blue and peachy colored bottle, I can tell you that either they have cheapened up the formula YET AGAIN, or I just got a bad bottle. It is trash. The consistency is what I noticed RIGHT AWAY. It is THIN like it was watered down. The smell is also more muted now and has a slightly chemical note to it. I have to use way more of the product AND it doesn't make my hair soft like it used to . I get frizz now and my ends are feeling crispy. I'm SOOOO UPSET!!!!

Will there ever be a fragrance free version, or fragrance as the last ingredient with trace amount? Fragrances give me migraines and this lists the perfume amount in the top 30% of the ingredients. That is a lot of perfume.

Hi there, will the heat protection still work if i apply this in the shower and then rinse? I have fine hair and I saw in the "how to use" description that I should apply in the shower and then rinse to avoid it weighing my hair down, which is very helpful advise.
