Moisture, but no hold
I tried this product on my wash-n-go (fine 3c-4a). Although I liked the results, it wasn't was I was expecting. I used a leave-in conditioner and a light oil to seal in moisture before sectioning my clean, wet hair and applying this product. I noticed the product is not sticky nor oily and it sme...

It didn't work for me
I have fine hair, with enough curl that makes it frizz. Interestingly, this product did less for me than other products. Complete frizz if I didn't completely style my hair.

Works for my 2C-3B curls, but your mileage may vary
I noticed another review saying this product didnt do anything for their medium porosity curls and had to speak up! My hair is medium density but fine texture, so my mostly 3A hair stretches out its curls very easily. I don't use this foam as a styling product on wash day, but it is one of my faves for refreshing my curls! I stumbled upon it while on a trip and bought it on a whim. Had to put it in my sister's checked luggage to get it home, because I didn't want to leave it behind! I will say, since it does contain coconut oil, it can be easy to go overboard with it and cause hair to look greasy. (Clarifying shampoo is your friend.) This foam is so lightweight, but has hydration and a bit of protein for definition, which is exactly what I need to keep my fine curls juicy in a dry climate. It doesn't have hold, so it should definitely be used in combination with a product that gives hold (ideally, like a gel or mousse without oils or humectants). Learn what ingredients do and find a gel or mousse that works for you to do what you want. There is no magical all in one product that will work for all curls…this foam is great at what it is meant to do. And it smells delicious!
Not for 2c-3a hair
I have 2c-3a medium porosity hair, and this did nothing but weigh my hair down. It smells great like coconut oil but my waves/curls were looser than ever before and greasy. Definitely too heavy for my hair type but will probably do the job for curlier hairtypes. Product also runs out very quickly like water. The pump is efficent and easy, everything else is a big no for me.
It's okay
I have very long curly hair and use the curl smoothie from this line. Love that stuff. However, I usually use a mousse or gel to help form a cast and hold the curls. I applied semi dry as the bottle states, and it worked okay. I also tried by itself and it doesnt do much hold wise. My boyfriend also uses it on his curly hair and it doesnt hold as much as we like it to. We stilk had a good amount of frizz too. We both have very thick Puerto rican curls. This is good for someone who has waves and hair is on the thinner side. Literally ran through this like water. Not for us!!
Good product, but does not foam
This mousse smells really nice and it seems to be helping define my curls, but it doesn't foam. It comes out the same consistency as water, which makes it difficult to use. It runs off my hands before I can get all of it in my hair. I think I might've just gotten a defective bottle, but considering that so many reviews mention this, I really hope they do something to fix it. Aside from the defect, it seems like a very good mousse, especially for the price.
