Different to the original Coco...but still good!
Somewhat similar to the original Coco Mademoiselle but sweeter and warmer, this reincarnation loses what made the original so unique, and puts it almost in the same league as other fruit-patchouli fragrances...which admittedly makes it more generic but isn't necessarily a bad thing either. If you are prone to migraines; AVOID!
I have been wearing the Coco Mademoiselle EDP for over 10 years, and never have had an issue. I grabbed this by mistake, and was hoping it would just be a longer lasting form of the EDP. It smells completely different to me. There is a cloyingly sweet scent note that lingers, and the handful of time...

Disappointed
I bought this online but unfortunately when I picked it up and tried it, I couldn't stand the fragrance on me. On others it's probably lovely. It has great reviews. Returning it was no problem, staff were so helpful.
Not for me
Unfortunately this gave me a headache. It was just too strong and sharp. Dried down with a more powdery scent, which I liked. This definitely isn't one I recommend blind buying.
A Classic For Sure.
I'm really pleased with my purchase of this perfume. Initially, I was a bit hesitant due to a prior experience with a musky and spicy scent from a perfume called Coco Chanel (without Mademoiselle). However, when I caught a whiff of it on a co-worker, I couldn't resist asking about her fragrance. To my surprise, she revealed it was still Coco Chanel, but with the addition of Mademoiselle. The scent exudes classic beauty, elegance, and sophistication, and it definitely turns heads as I walk by.
I love Chanel
The fragrance is so clean, and I get compliments every where I go..
More feminine than the original...
Somewhat similar to the original Coco Mademoiselle but sweeter and warmer, this reincarnation loses what made the original so unique, and puts it almost in the same league as other fruit-patchouli fragrances...which admittedly makes it more generic but isn't necessarily a bad thing either. I was expecting the Patchouli in this to be amped up when I first saw the word 'Intense' and was very excited to try it, however that's unfortunately not the case, instead it's the addition of Vanilla, Tonka and a slight fruitiness that makes it different to the original, and the complete absence of 'vetiver' which gave the original an ever-so-slightly unisex edge. The initial blast has a strong amount of citrus in it too. I do enjoy wearing this, but to me Chanel are playing 'safe' with it, rather than staying true to the 'Intense' promise which could have held a lot of potential if done right. Being sweeter and warmer, this one is more feminine than the original, it also lasts longer on my skin and is perfect for daytime wear. Classy, non-floral and (just like the original) this one also gets me compliments. I love the original but would consider purchasing this variation of it too...even if it's just to give my nose a break from the original - whilst still being able to indulge in a subtle reminder of it.
