Thoroughly wet the brush with warm water. Swirl the bristles in shaving soap or apply a small amount of shaving cream. Work the brush in circular motions to build a rich lather, then apply the lather to the face using gentle circular strokes. After shaving, rinse the brush under warm water until clear, shake out excess water, and store hanging or standing with bristles facing down to dry.
