PÜR Beauty Ceretin Boost Age-Defying Retinol Serum is lightweight with a slight scent of maybe sunscreen. I am on the fence with this one. In my opinion, I really haven't seen any results. I'm not so sure if it's doing any changes to my skin. I do have some texture and I don't see it improving. Furthermore, I have sensitive skin, and every now and then I start to feel a bit of an itch. I love PUR but I think this one isn't for me. The scent isn't the greatest to have on my skin before I go to bed because it reminds me of sunscreen. What I do like is how lightweight it feels without leaving my skin sticky. I also enjoy the cool feeling on my skin. I will continue to use it because I would like to see if any improvements occur to my skin. After all of the skincare products I've gotten to try from Pur, I've been hesitant to try anymore, but I have finally have found one that works for me! If I wasn't breaking out in hives - there were other issues with their skincare I personally had (this is my fifth product from them) and I was so sad because I adore their makeup line! This Retinol Serum performs wonderfully on my skin - no purging, it's gentle (although I'm not typically sensitive), and it's fast absorbing leaving behind hydrated skin resulting in a Glowy look! I love the unique product formula which encapsulates Retinol to keep it fresher longer until it's applied and broken down/absorbed into the skin but I do wish there was a push up product dispensing method to reduce product waste when using towards the end. I love the beautiful packaging that gives that little modern luxury feel and the pump top which make application easy and precise. As someone who will be 27 by the end of the year and as someone who's acne prone - this retinol serum is a must have. I actually haven't used retinol for awhile because I was pregnant then breastfeeding but I'm happy to incorporate it into my routine again with no issues! I cycle my products now, so I don't use this everyday but it's definitely going to be used up! I haven't seen a huge difference yet and I've just start to dermaplane so I won't start back on retinol again until a few days so my skin doesn't react in any way, but I can't wait to see how it performs/the results on dermaplanned skin as well!
