Works! I bought a cheap department store brush, and it just didn't come close to the performance of this brush here! Blow drying is a must for me, and this brush works really well. Smooth curl that is perfect!

Great brush compared to Essentials
Brush is fantastic at catching hair and providing volume and added curl (if wanted). I initially purchased the OG Essentials version due to cheaper cost but it was horrible so decided to try this one for an extra $10, so worth it!
