It smells great and makes my hair soft. I have thick coarse hair and i didn t have to use hair products to tame it however sadly, I can t use it bc it stripped my black hair color out so now it just sits on shelf. I do recommend if you don t dye your hair dark or if you don t care if you have to color more frequently. It seems every shampoo and conditioner that tells me its color safe lately makes my color run off so could possibly be something up with my hair or with every color brand I m choosing to use and mix
