I love this product! I have naturally thick hair and can feel the difference it makes in how my hair feels when I use it after a shower, compared with when I don't.
Strengthens but does not soften nor hydrate
Hair Type Straight Hair
For my very thick, straight Asian hair, which has become prone to breaking because of damage from coloring, I am not sure how much benefit I get from using this product. It seems to amplify the straightness and thickness of my hair (which does make me think it is stronger). But my hair feels like each strand has been coated with some residue-like thing, but not with something good like hair oil. My hair feels dryer and less soft. Let me review the product descriptions benefits claims and rate 1-5 for each: Repairs damage - 1 (no repair noticed). Protects against future damage - 4 (each strand feels "thicker"/reinforced). Finishes hair with smoothness - 1 (no, my hair is naturally smooth, and this made it less so). Strengthens - 4 (each strand does feel thicker). Reduces Frizz - ?? (unrated because my hair is NEVER frizzy, but please note it seems my hair feels LESS smooth/sleek as each strand might be covered with some sort of residue). Detangles - 2 (meh). Softens - 1 (no, my hair feels more coarse and stiff, which goes toward hair feeling "strengthened"). Hydrates - 1 (no, my hair feels dryer and stiffer/more coarse). Heat Protective - 5 (the blow dryer heat did not affect hair color at all, and I've had other times when not using this product where I'd noticed hair color faded right where the dryer was directing warm/hot air). Color-safe - 4 (I'm not sure but it seems I have more warmth after applying this product and my hair is supposed to be very cool ash-brown; I'll give benefit of the doubt by rating 4 instead of 3).

The serum smells amazing, but it leaves my hair feeling sticky—It feels like I didnt fully rinse the shampoo out of my hair. For that reason I wouldn't buy it again. I was really only able to stick it out with this product because of the smell.

Great product smells amazing! Main reason why i would buy again! Good for post wash days to add moisture without it weighing hair down. I use it for when my ends are dry or I do a heatless style. Not very hydrating tho and i have mid length hair and must use a good bit to get it through my hair so it's a little pricey! I don't really see any repair much but it's great for when you need to add some moisture to your hair that's like oil that doesn't weigh thin hair down

This leaves my hair feeling like i did not thoughly rinse my hair. I cant get around the feeling. Ive tried using leas product, applying diffrently. Nothing changes. The smell is also offputting, similar to a mustky liquid
