Soft brushes in a versatile configuration

I was excited to try an environmentally friendly brush that is built to better blend my concealer and complexion make up. I grew up hand blending my make up because the sponges I tried simply could not give a seamless finish and as an adult I have discovered that brushes are my HG for an airbrushed ...look. This ecotools dual sided brush seems like an awesome idea and versatile concept. Not only does it provide blending for bother concealer and foundation, but it combines the tool so that it conserves space and you no longer have a unitasking tool. It arrives in a pretty sturdy paper box. When I received this, I was a little surprised at how small the foundation brush was. My preference is for larger foundation brushes. I find that I get better blending. The concealer brush is about the right size. It dabs and preserves pigment without blending out the color too much. Both brushes are super soft. And while I am a bit perplexed to see that these are synthetic (and eco?), I appreciate that this brush did not harm any animals. The bamboo type handle is nice and smooth and feels plenty sturdy. In use I found that the foundation brush worked better than I expected. The bristles are very soft so they do blend out quite well with my unitasking foundcealer product. It did not spread the product as widely and diffusely as perhaps a larger brush might, but I think this tool does an acceptable job. The concealer brush is probably even a lot better in my opinion because it preserved the pigment under my very dark eye circles while also blending out the foundcealer product a bit into my cheeks. I am not accustomed to using blending tools and I found that this concealer brush gave an even nicer finish to my undereyes while still covering my dark circles. As a multi-tasking tool this is great. It can be thrown in a bag and save space that could otherwise be taken by multiple brushes. That is good for me and the reduction of product overconsumption is good for the environment. Compared to my previous make up habits, I think this tool does elevate my make up game and give a better finish to my complexion products. I would recommend it. The only way that the product could be improved for future versions in my opinion is if the larger brush were made a bit larger.
