I stopped using beard oil a while back in favor of balms. I realized recently that the two products aren't necessarily interchangeable, as the oil is more for the skin and hair health, and the balm is more for styling. I gave the Reuzel oil a shot when ordering some pomade and beard balm. So far, I'm a big fan. It has a wonderful scent and has noticeably softened my beard hair.
