Full disclosure: I do not work for Bumble & Bumble. I'm just a curious person who is procrastinating studying for an exam that I have tomorrow morning.
So I read a review on here that hinted that this product might contain sulfates as it has "Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate" listed as one of its ingredients. Well like I said I'm a curious person so down the rabbit hole I went.
It turns out that "Sodium Laureth Sulfate" (SLS), "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate" (SLES), and "Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate" (SLAS) are all completely different. Now the reviewer didn't mention SLES, but it is a popular sulfate used in soaps and shampoos so I thought I'd include it anyway for those who curious.
SLAS (the ingredient listed in this shampoo), is naturally derived from coconuts and palm oils. It doesn't penetrate the skin nearly as easily as SLS and SLES due to its larger molecular size, making it a WAY better choice for shampoo and facial cleansing products.
There is a lot of literature on this topic - you can't go by just the first few words listed in an ingredient. If you've taken organic chemistry you'll know that just one little bond can change the entire composition of a molecule and how it reacts with others.
There is a lot of good literature on this, but I got an error when I tried to post references. Please do your research, people!
I straighten my hair and really like using the hairdressers invisible oil primer and the bb styling lotions. I wanted to try this shampoo since my hair can get fairly dry, but it actually made it feel much worse. After applying and rinsing my hair usually becomes very tangled and feels stripped unless I use a large amount of conditioner after. I also noticed that I was losing far more hair in the shower compared to other shampoos I've used - including a couple of Bumble's other shampoos. Even using the balm-to-oil, which has a lot of negative reviews regarding the greasiness of the product, had no effect on my hair once I run this shampoo through it to wash it out.
I will not be purchasing this shampoo again once I finish the bottle I have.

I have thin, wavy hair and after using function of beauty at target, all my hair started to fall out. This shampoo left my scalp clean as I always suffer from oily hair, I can about two days without dry shampoo now, my hair isn't falling out anymore, and it's actually hydrated for once.

Repairing my hair from the damaged bleached hair was a mission but then came across this beauty. Nourished my hair right back to health if anything so much more softer! To the point my own salon stylist noticed! Asking what I was using in my hair to make it so soft!

This product made my hair oily to the point that it actually felt dirty after washing it . This shampoo is like literally washing your hair with oil !! I wouldn't recommend buying nothing from Bumble's Invisible hair line . I had hair shed from using this stuff it totally sucks!!

I'm not sure where all the great reviews are coming from. I thought it was awful from use one but decided to give it the good ole college try and sad I didn't return it in time. It made my medium thick, processed hair feel absolutely horrible and my roots felt greasy after one day. After using it for a few weeks, I decided to drop out and use the remaining on my toddler. Sad to report it makes her fine hair feel a bit gross too and she gets a better clean with the cheap stuff. I've gone back to Pureology and you should save your money and not purchase this stuff. Only plus is I love the way it smells.

I don't understand the bad reviews on this shampoo???
I have used several different products from this brand and have found some of them to be either a hit or a miss, so I usually go with the travel size when trying them. I actually received a sample of the invisible oil spray and have been loving it, so I thought I go ahead and try the shampoo & conditioner; so glad I did!
I have several Moroccan Oil products (they are great too) but this line doesn't remind me of each other, as some reviews mentioned. I really like that this line is not as heavy feeling as MO can sometimes be. This line leaves my hair feeling silky smooth, without leaving it oily! I can also go longer in between washes than MO. Its also great for smoothing my wavy course hair, without weighing it down. It makes heat styling my hair much easier and I have less flyways. I'll definitely keep buying!

I received a free sample of the primer and finishing spray and loved them so I decided to buy the shampoo and conditioner and it made my hair feel heavy ,tangled and dry I figured it be a great product considering it's soo expensive

Love the smell, a little goes a long way, but too expensive and won't be repurchasing.

Was recommended by floor sales person. I was looking for color safe shampoo that smelled good… this is way over priced for what it is and basically just smells like Moroccan oil. Disappointed ☹️

It made my hair dry and feel dirty and heavy. Definitely not invisible.

i have thin/fine straight blonde hair and if your hair type is anything like mine it's hard to find products that don't leave your hair either a tangled mess or oily by midday. i've been using this + the conditioner everyday for the past week and it is AMAZING! my hair is silky smooth and it lasts all day. i've even noticed that my hair looks cleaner and i'm able to go a day without washing it. this product has made me love my hair!

To start I love Bb's smell. To see they had a shampoo and conditioner set I had to give it a try. After a week of using this product I noticed dryness between shampoo and conditioner while showering. It was even difficult to move my fingers through my hair as it felt like all oils were stripped from my hair. To make up for this I was using a bit more conditioner then shampoo. After about two weeks I've started to notice this even after applying conditioner and my hair is try, it feels unhealthy, dry and brittle.
I have color treated wavy hair, so this just may be my personal experience, but I would have to say this product is not for me. Gave it a good and fair try.

This shampoo has made a huge difference in my hair. My hair was brittle and did not look healthy. I have been using for just a few weeks and tell a huge difference. It is expensive but, I was desperate.

It is steep but omg I noticed a difference after first use! It's made my hair just so much more manageable

I have bought a million anti-frizz products over the year and have never noticed any difference with any of them. I tried this B&B product because I wanted something different than the Dry Bar Heat Spray I'd been using, and didn't like. I am 49 years old and my hair is coarse and it has always been frizzy, I have thick hair that has to be flat ironed to look normal. I spray this in when it's towel dried and after I have blow dried, my hair feels soft like it did when I was a teenager. I love it and am so impressed with the product. I also bought the matching oil serum that I use before flat ironing. The stuff is expensive but I know that the spray will last me at least a year. I never write reviews but I would encourage any one with frizzy, dry, damaged looking course hair to give it a try.

I have very fine, very frizzy colored hair and it's hard to find products that smooth without weighing it down. This definitely works, but I just can't stomach the price. Buy the liters and use a coupon if you can to make it more reasonable. My scalp was getting really itchy after using this for a while and I switched to the Paul Mitchell tea tree products, scalp feels a lot better and so does my wallet.

It's okay but makes my hair a little heavy because it's very moisturizing but it also made my hair hard which I have thick curly hair. Also be careful on the amount you use it only takes a little bit. For along time I have been using emu oil shampoo from healthy hair plus online because it makes my hair look healthy but also causes me pimples. I still use the sulfate free emu conditioner because it makes my hair soft. I also tried some Shea moisturizer products and nah makes my hair dry and hard to much protein in there products. Now I am using deva curl low poo shampoo and I'm really liking it a lot so far😊

I have some friz..Blonde balayge treated hair. This product did nothing for me it was so different from using drug store shampoo at a premium price. Not worth the money at all. It lathered nice and little product was needed...the only nice thing about it.

I've always used high quality, salon products but they still left my hair frizzy. I have extremely long, wavy hair and I needed something that could control it. I tried this stuff and it was night and day. My hair is soft, I can actually come my fingers through my hair! Hopefully my hair continues to respond!

A little bit goes a long way. Good thing considering the high price.

I've been using this shampoo for weeks until I realized it contained sodium sulfate in the ingredients list. It advertises as "paraben and sulfate free." I have color treated hair and no longer feel comfortable using it or that this is the right shampoo for me, just something to consider when you're buying this product! Always read the labels.

I love the way this product works through my hair.

I love that a little bit of this goes a long way. I have medium thickness hair, and feel that just a few drops covers my whole scalp. My hair feels super clean after using this. Unfortunately, the hair conditioning counterpart to this shampoo is terrible and I do not recommend it at all because I have to use at least a 1/4 of it everytime I condition just to feel even remotely smooth hair. Shampoo is great! Conditioner is trash!
