How To Use

  1. For best results, clean nails thoroughly of natural oils to ensure maximum base coat and nail polish adhesion. Make sure to use acetone-based nail polish remover or a nail dehydrating solution to properly prep the nail plate.

  2. Apply 1 to 2 coats of Smoothing Base on clean, dry nails. Wrap under the tips of your nails to help prevent tip wear.

  3. Allow to dry to the touch before applying your favorite nail polish. Or, wear 2 coats alone for a conditioned natural look!

Long Lasting Base + Pink Smoothing Base = ultimate combo

Found out about Holo Taco recently after seeing a nail forum where someone uploaded a picture of their nails after 3 weeks (and not a single chip). What were they wearing? Holo Taco Pink Smoothing Base. Which I found they sell at Ulta and immediately went out to buy it. I first bought Holo Taco Pi...

Great product…..at first

I'm torn about this product — on one hand (no pun intended) it works and looks great, but on the other, its overall life span inside the bottle seems to be pretty short. I've tried buying multiple bottles and unfortunately, I'm still having the same issue with it getting thick and stringy before i...

I am so glad I bought this; completely smoothes out my nail bed for even application and does not show through. I wanna say it also protects my nails pretty well

Underrated!

This has helped my nailpolish last so much longer! My nails are on the weaker side and i feel like this helps with breakage and chipping. When my nails need to recover from the nail salon or different kinds of damage, this truly has helped me a lot.

If you are sensitive to PVB...

My nails suddenly started peeling pretty badly after I switched to this base coat from another brand. I was oiling my nails more, going longer between changing polish, everything to help minimize peeling....and then i realized the PVB in this formula is the reason. It absolutely does keep my polish on longer, but my nails are in really bad shape. I went back to my old base coat (which does not contain PVB) and could finally start to grow out the peeling without additional damage. BEWARE if your nails don't like PVB, they won't like this base coat, either. Still love the topcoat, still love the color polish, but I can't use this base coat sadly.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Not Worth It

I am so sad to say, but the top and base coats are not worth it. I got the long lasting base coat, the shiny "taco", and the one coat black. I used the top coat and long lasting base coat with the black polish from this line, with proper nail prep, and the polish just peeled straight off. I dried them fully in between layers and even tried polishes from other brands in-between. A regular drug store polish with no base or top has lasted longer than these products. Wish this lived up to the dreams :/ Have watched her videos for nearly a decade and am so sad to be this disappointed

awful customer service

I would have given this five stars cuz of Polish is amazing but I received two shattered bottles which I only noticed one initially and I have tried to contact them about the second one and they refuse to contact me back so now I don't have a base coat cuz it got shattered in the mail cuz they put all the nail polishes in one bag so they banged against each other and I didn't want to clean it up till later and then I cut my finger on a piece of glass and I tried to message them to tell them I didn't notice that the base coat cuz it's clear was shattered too cuz I didn't open the bag cuz I didn't want to deal with the glass and I never got a response so now I'm out of base coat and I cut my finger on shattered glass cuz they could not wrap them individually so just be wary if you're buying more than one.
