Vacation Ball Boy Scented Candle

I love candles, and have a few select ones that are my favorite. This is by far one of them, i appreciate that it isnt bulky and the scent is powerful enough for a very large room. Ive tried all the candles by vacation and aside from their black label one which they stopped making a few years ago, this is the best one. I still have at least half left of the blue one (smells like clean laundry but it smells cheap IMO) and ive tried the ivory one too which was too subtle and barely had any scent. The Pool boy candle is good but have only gotten it once because i wasnt inpressed with its stength (i liked the smell but it was weak when it came to burning it). The smell of this one is unique and though i think of it as more of a spring/ summer candle, ill burn it any time of the year. My only issue with it is if you dont have a long lighter or match, by midway, tou will have difficulty lighting it. So you definitely need a long match or lighter as it can become challenging halfway thru. It would be cute if vacation gave matches along with it. Its also nice that it burns evenly and havent ever had trouble where i need to use some tin foil to even out the wax.

The first time I saw this candle I had the same thought as everyone else: hey it's going to smell like a locker room! Surprise, it does not smell like a locker room. In fact has the subtle scents of cucumber sandwiches, sunscreen, and yes - freshly uncanned tennis balls - just like it says on the label. It's a fun candle, we put it out while watching Wimbledon.

The whole scent reminds me of playing tennis with my friends at the court next to the local swimming pool when I was a kid... the suntan lotion, the Lycra, the tennis ball rubber. The cucumber note is fresh and grassy to complete the scent memory. The wax on the candle burns cleanly and evenly, and the scent has decent throw. I can smell the candle unlit when I'm sitting next to it, but when lit it scents my entire living room. Would definitely buy this again.

Well well well does this smell like a can of tennis balls? Indeed, it does. Plus other things that help achieve that, 'I'm on vacation feeling' - even when rewatching episodes of Parks and Rec, I feel like I'm at the beach, baby.
