Q
Would this be a good alternative for a combination of tret and azelic acid on oily to combo skin?
Asked by Makeup Lover
Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand Engage
Thank you so much for your question! These products/ingredients all actually have very different benefits, so Bakuchiol would not be an adequate alternative. The Bakuchiol Oil Blend for Oily Skin focuses mostly on anti-aging benefits and loss of elasticity. Was this answer helpful to you

Q
Is this product noncomedogenic?
Asked by Kayla
Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand Engage
Hi! We definitely understand your concerns with the products' potential to clog pores. However, we’re hesitant about applying the non-comedogenic label to our products since there is no universal and agreed upon guideline. Comedogenic scales often vary depending on the source. When an ingredient is tested in a lab to determine the comedogenic capability, it is done in a rabbit's ear which is much more sensitive than human skin. Individual skin chemistry can determine the extent of an ingredient’s ability to clog pores, so it is highly variable between people. As such, the only way to be certain is to actually try out the product. The same ingredient when used in a different concentration or within a different formulation will vary as far as being comedogenic or not.Was this answer helpful to you

I had been using a regular retinol which was okay but I was over the 'burn' of redness the next day. Also, I would get a random deep cystic pimple and that's not okay. I have an oily t-zone and combination and sensitive skin and I was hesitant to try an oil, but I knew Bakuchiol would be more gentle...

I like it...

I tried this because I am VERY sensitive to retinol and I have VERY oily skin. Overall, I like it - with a few caveats. I only use it at night (and not always every night): it's too oily for you me to wear during the day under makeup AND I am still a bit sensitive, so I'm cautious. I use it as sug...

This stuff is wonderful if you have sensitive combination skin like mine. It's moisturizing, brightening, and smells nice but not perfume-y. It also doesn't take much; 3 drops is enough for my whole face. After using this, my skin is soft and glowy even during the change of seasons in Minnesota!

Skin does not absorb this serum. Sits on top. Very oily. Supposed to be specifically for oily skin. No.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Thank goodness I found this. This has really come through with these dry patches I am dealing with and you don't need a lot. A few drops and press it into your face. You are good to go! Also you don't need to use it often either.
