Fine Scent but...

This is a fine Scent, but I won't blow you away. This smells a tad bit like Armani Code and Jean-Paul Gautier Le Male, so if you have that, you don't really need this, arguably, synthetic, lower quality clone. The perfumery is fine, as the opening is a fresh, sweet Bergamont and a hit of spice. The ...dry down is less unique and smells a little powdery yet still somewhat invigorating and nice; it also smells a bit like a fresh shower gel. Bad Boy smells like what you imagine a department store smells, basic overall. This shouldn't be an everyday wear as it could quickly get annoying, but rather an occasional fragrance for special and appropriate contexts. This is not to say it is not mass appealing, it is an easy wear, but clearly not niche or too unique as mentioned before. Finally, longevity is lacking, it is moderate at best. If one insists on a Carolina Herrera fragrance, get CH Men Prive, a far better perfumery than Bad Boy. There are many better and higher-quality alternatives to this fragrance, get those instead!
