Excellent dryer!
I have fine, thin hair so I can't comment on how it is for thick hair (though I imagine it's great!) but it's perfect for mine. From towel dried to dry - styled with a round brush, takes less than 5 minutes. It's quieter than my previous dryer and the little nozzle thing on the end stays put (my o...

Not quite as good as the original
I am a HUGE fan of my Drybar Buttercup blow dryer...I tell everyone who will listen about how great it is and how it has changed the texture of my hair for the better. So I was very excited when a smaller/travel sized-version came out. I bought it, tried it and was a bit disappointed. While I am ...

I would not purchase the hair dryer.
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I purchased this dryer because I liked how compact it is, and the handle folded for travel. Buyer be warned, this dryer will not hold up. I was hesitant to spend this much money for a travel dryer but it came recommended by a store associate and she assured me that it was worth the money. It is not worth the money! It is just out of its 2 year warranty, and it just stopped working. I do not use the dryer except while traveling, so it is not getting daily, or weekly wear and tear. If I had been using it several times a week I think it might have only lasted a year. The cold button also does not stay when you press it in, so you must hold that in while using. I found this to be too cumbersome so I did not use it. I hope this review helps. I am going to purchase a less expensive travel dryer and I will make sure to leave a review comparing the two .
broke after only 1 YEAR DAILY USE
this blow dryer handle snapped this morning. I've only had it for a year. I'm disappointed that a product this expensive didn't last long. I will be purchasing a 30-40 dollar blow dryer that last year's. my blow dryer I had before this i got a minimum of 10 years ago. very unimpressed with this product.
Died after less than 2 years.
Hair Type Straight Hair
Expected more for a blow dryer at this price. My 10 year old Revlon dryer still works but this one is dead after less than 2 years. Drybar would do nothing to help me because I couldn't find my receipt from Ulta from over a year ago. Do not recommend and won't buy another drybar product.
I love drybar but am extremely disappointed
I got this roughly a year ago and was super excited because I I rarely use a hair dryer and wanted to save space. The folding handle broke within the first three uses and now the wires are exposed.
Drybar diffuser doesn't fit; shorted in Europe
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I assumed the Drybar diffuser would fit the travel buttercup, since it's the only one they make, but it doesn't. Very annoying - please consider making a travel size/matching diffuser for curly hair. Also - mine shorted out within a few minutes in Switzerland. I checked voltage, etc and was advised it would work. But it shorted and now no longer works.
