PREP & HEAT:
- Place collar on GiGi warmer.
- Remove plastic lid and place can in warmer. Set temperature to High for 15-25 minutes, then set to Low until wax has a thin/honey consistency.
- Test wax temperature on the backside of your wrist before waxing.
READY TO WAX:
- Cleanse area to be epilated with GiGi Pre Hon cleanser and then pat thoroughly dry with tissue.
- Apply a thin layer of GiGi Pre Epilation Powder to absorb moisture and oil.
- Holding the applicator at a 45 degree angle, apply a thin layer of soft wax in the direction of hair.
- Place epilating strip over wax and rub strip firmly in the direction of hair growth.
- Hold the skin taut and pull epilating strip off (parallel to the skin) with one quick motion in the opposite direction of hair growth.
- Immediately apply firm pressure to epilated area with the cushion of your fingers or palm of your hand to calm the skin. Pro Tip: Use your waxed strip to remove any leftover wax from your skin.
- Never re-apply soft wax to newly-epilated areas.
AFTER WAX CARE:
- Apply GiGi Wax Off to remove any wax residue and to condition.
- To maintain waxing results longer, smooth on GiGi Slow Grow, a hair minimizer, every day after showering.
Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Carefully read and follow the enclosed instructions. If wax should fall onto lashes, keep eyes closed. Apply a drop of petroleum jelly on area and remove with an eyebrow comb. Wipe with a moist tissue and then place a cotton swab at the corner of the eye to absorb residue. Test a small area on the backside of your wrist for temperature sensitivity. Do not use on irritated, cut or broken skin. Do not use inside nose, ears, on nipples, eyelashes, warts, and moles or near internal genital area. Do not use if you have varicose veins, diabetes, phlebitis, chapped, sore or sunburned skin, recent scar tissue, eczema or any skin disorder. Do not use if you are using Retin-A, Accutane, Glycolic Acid, and Alpha Hydroxy treatments. Do not use soaps or astringents for 2 hours after application. Avoid the sun, tanning and hot water for 8 hours before and after any hair removal treatment.

"All - Purpose" is not accurate
I followed instructions to make a hard wax for my armpits, eyebrows, upper lip, and brazilian. This product is amazing
Some in the reviews may not work for them, but I find this product worked amazing for me even the small bottle products worked for me and improved the wax quality and there was no redness afterwards. As somebody who has waxed for a few years now as I just purchased this a week ago, it was amazing and I will continue to buy refills for this product. As some say, it didn't pull hair. Make sure your hair is long enough for the wax to collect as it may not work if hair is not long enough. Again, this is an amazing product I recommend buying and it's not as expensive as it's the ones on Amazon😁😁😁
Throwing my kit away
THIS WAX DOES NOT COME OFF YOUR SKIN. They provide a small bottle of wax remover. It doesn't work. Handled my kit today, to see how much I have left. Remembered why I don't use it. Can't get the spots of wax off my hands. Throwing my kit out today.
Included wax did not work for me and was very messy
I like that it included a lot of stuff in the kit but I would recommend getting a different type of wax. I tried the wax a few times and looked up to make sure I was applying properly but it still did not work for me. I bought some hard wax and that has worked so much better and is not messy at all. It was still nice to have the kit so I have the warmer and powder and sticks and all that so I would still recommend this if you don't have any of that yet.
First at home waxing
I'm glad I purchased this kit on sale since it was my first attempt at home waxing. I did my lower arms and the experience was as expected. I did have difficultly finding the correct application temperature that cooled enough to pull off in one go. It seemd that rubbing it to get good hair to wax and muslin adhesion only heated the wax up and made it difficult to remove at times. Some areas were fine and others pulled off less comfortably. I will continue to use the product until the wax runs out…then I'm going to experiment with other wax brands.
