Expensive but worth it.
First, I completely understand how crazy expensive this is for a makeup brush. I have been struggling with blending my tinted moisturizer/concealer ever since my skin went haywire on me after my wedding. I saw a YouTube makeup person rave about this brush for serum concealer application as a foundation, and I was desperate and bought this. It works. This has made a huge difference and my makeup has genuinely looked better since I start led using this brush. I also use it under the eyes for concealer and it works great. I have no regrets!
Worth the Money
This is an amazing Brush. I use it for foundation and concealer. The brush fibers are so smooth and very easy to clean. Easy to clean. Worth the money. I Love everything bout Hourglass.
It really shines with concealer
Like all Hourglass brushes the Ambient Soft Glow Foundation brush is attractive, well made, comfortable in the hand, easy to use & easy to clean. Its very soft on the skin & pleasing to use. The only con is size. I wouldn't recommend buying this to use specifically with the foundation unless you like a small brush or your going to disappointed. All that said this is still a great brush. I personally love it as a concealer brush. Its shape & size along with the medium density of the brush head blends out concealer beautifully. Its also great with detail work around the nose & mouth.
Not for foundation
This is a great brush. However, I didn't like the way it applied my foundation. But not all was lost, as it works great with cream contours, bronzers or blush.

But- Application is like butter! It has an extremely soft, yet very dense angled brush head that leaves liquid foundation looking like you spent 10 minutes tapping with a beauty blender. The angled head and small size allows for precision application around the nose and eyes. No shedding, very high quality and despite being small has some good weight to it. It reminds me of my Bobbi brown full coverage foundation brush, which I love. This brush is a go to for me. There's a reason this little gem won 2022 best of beauty. It's a worthwhile splurge- you won't be disappointed.
