Q
Just visited ULTA to get the IT #103 concealer brush for under eye and blemishes. My store didn't have it. One rep recommended the #212 flat brush. I went back to the section after shopping and the next rep totally recommended the eyeshadow brush #112 for under eye and blemish concealer! She said it would be wonderful for my needs using my new Bye Bye under eye concealer. Pretty confused at this point. Does fluffy #112 also work for concealing needs with Bye Bye under eye?
Asked by michiganrunner
Verified Reply - Brand ExpertHi there, thank you for reaching out to IT! Both brushes are made for concealer application, it really depends on what type of application you prefer! One is not necessarily better than the other. The #103 is a loosely packed brush head to buff out concealer for an airbrushed finish, while the #112 is a paddle style concealer brush with more densely packed bristles to apply concealer with fuller coverage. Either can be used to apply under eye concealer or spot conceal based on your preference! XOXOWas this answer helpful to you
Q
Would this be great for packing eyeshadow all over the eyelid or is the #119 better? Which is closer to a flat eyeshadow brush?
Asked by freelove
Verified Reply - Brand ExpertHi there, thank you for your question! You can absolutely use the Airbrush Precision Shadow Brush #112 to pack on shadow all over the eyelid. The Airbrush All-Over Shadow Brush #119 has the same style brush head, but is slightly larger to cover more area. Both will pack on color! XOXOWas this answer helpful to you

Normally buy brushes cheap, this is worth the extra expense

I normally buy cheaper brushes but I splurged on a recommendation and picked this brush up, and it made a HUGE difference. It applies my shadow incredibly smoothly right where I want, and is super soft on my skin. It blends the edges really well as well. I wouldn't use it for a liquid shadow. Powder...

Decent Starter Brush

This is an overall decent brush and one I'd likely recommend to others if they were wondering which eye brushes to buy for a personal starter set. The brush head isn't dense and will not pick up a lot of product. You will get a sweep of shadow rather than a full, saturated application regardless of ...

Great brush

This and all It makeup brushes I've purchased, is fabulous. It was however difficult to purchase online as Ulta's photos aren't the best. I couldn't really tell if it was tapered, flat, fluffy, or what. I did of course read the description. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, I wanted something a bit more flat to help with a cut crease but it actually works out really well for packing on shadow as it's a small, densely packed brush at the same time it's also soft and can be used to blend as well. I love that it's smaller than most eyeshadow brushes as it fits perfectly on the lid. Great quality, made very well and sturdy. No shedding of any of the brushes I own. I believe I have 4.

Love it!!

I wanted to try a half cut crease smokey look. I am not great at the placement of eyeshadow with a smokey eye- I place it too far up. I watched a Robert Welsh video and the brush he was using looked like this so I went and got this one. It is a game changer!!! I got it just about perfect the first time after buying this. It helps with precise placement just as the name says, and it blends out the color well. I used it for putting shadow right on my lids too. I usually opt for the cheaper Morphe brushes but they did not have one that I liked for this. I went over to their IT brush section and here this was- I was happy to shell out a little more $ for it. Bottom line- buy for any eyeshadow look where you want precise and blended shadow!

Good for shadow & blending, but not PRECISION

This is not at all a bad brush, but I would like to point out that calling it a "Precision" brush is pretty misleading. At the tip of the bristles it is 1 cm wide, which covers a large portion of my eyelid. I also bought #105 and #107 which are both labeled as blending brushes. Compared to them, this one is noticeably slightly denser and bristles are shorter which makes it a bit stiffer, but not enough to be scratchy. But the three are similar enough that you probably won't need all of them at once.
