Better than Bare Escentuals
I brake out in a rash when using the Bare Escentuals Kabuki. It goes away but while putting on make up I would end up with red spotty areas. I've been told it was because their kabuki is not synthetic. I finally switched to this brand and not only is it much more softer, i get NO RASH, AND the brush...

Thin and small brush
I had been looking for a new Kabuki brush for some time, and I like my brush to be soft yet very thick with bristles. The Airbrush Essential Kabuki's bristles were way too thin to get the coverage I like, on top of being on the smaller size for a Kabuki brush. The handle was a smaller and not as c...

I was really excited when I received this product to see what the buzz was about. I have normally been a believer that powder brushes don't make a difference when setting or applying makeup, however, I was proven wrong. Compared to other products you've tried, this brush held most of the product in the bridles and only applied the product where it was needed in an even layer. I was thoroughly impressed with how compact the brush is, and how soft the bristles are for being so sturdy! I went on vacation and took this brush with me; it made packing my makeup bag a breeze because it took up less space but completed big jobs with ease. I definitely would buy this product and recommend this product to my friends and family. It's so cute, compact, and does a great job while making sure my cosmetic products are not wasted in the process!

Having a small direct sales makeup company of my own, I have access to a lot of brushes and types of brushes. I also enjoy reviewing other products because I find that there are lots of great products out there that complement my own. I typically use a flat kabuki brush to apply my makeup and that has been my favorite. However, I got this IT Cosmetics AIRBRUSH ESSENTIAL Kabuki for FREE in exchange for an honest review. I was worried at first because it felt soft and others I've tried, if too soft, just flatten on your face and are inefficient at applying foundation. This brush is to be used for loose & pressed powder foundation, so that is what I used it with. Once I had the foundation on the brush (tap to remove excess), I applied using a circular motion. I did try to do straight strokes to see what would happen, but ended up blending with a circular motion as the straight stroke didn't work the foundation into the skin. I applied pressure to the brush and while there was a little give, it did push back to my delight and not flatten out, making application easy. I loved the shape the most when it came to my eyes. I was easily able to get my foundation applied in the curve of my nose up to my eye, across the brow, and under the eye. It fit perfectly in that area and I was able to maintain the circular motion for a flawless finish. Overall, I am very happy with the brush. The only thing that I struggled with at first was the short handle. I have a bit of carpal tunnel so it was a little difficult to hold at first. I had to grasp with all fingers instead of using a more pencil-like grip. The short handle makes it easy to throw in a makeup bag or for travel. I would love to see the following though 1. An option with a longer handle and 2. A lid or covering to protect the bristles during travel. Overall, I would recommend the IT Cosmetics AIRBRUSH ESSENTIAL KABUKI #145.

What an amazing brush! The bristles are incredibly soft almost as if they were real fur! (BUT THEY AREN'T!!) Instead the brand is able to successfully emulate the texture while remaining cruelty free. The soft, gentle application of makeup that this brush allows for is such a welcomed addition to my routine. especially coming from someone with sensitive skin so I'm sure you can assume how grateful I am. You can use this It Cosmetics Kabuki brush with your favorite foundation or various powders, I've even used it with my bronzer! I without a doubt would 100% recommend!
