Loving Tan2 HR Express Self Tanning Mousse Ultra Dark

I don't know why this has so many bad reviews I LOVE it!!! I'm so impressed by this product! I have VERY sensitive skin prone to eczema patches and irritation. This did not irritate my skin whatsoever. I hateeeeeee sleeping in my self tanner so this is a perfect option!! It says wash off after 2 hrs I do 3 but it washes off and there is still so much color! I applied it Saturday morning its Tuesday and the color is still here. I take a shower every morning and night so that's saying a lot. I really have nothing bad to say besides it's expensive BUT worth it to me! I have used many self tanners this is my by far favorite one and only one I will be using from now on.

Thisbis the best tan. Especialy if you have olive undertones. It looks so natural and i contantly get complimented when Ive got it on. The only tan I use now.

So this is my first time tanning myself with anything other than Jernigan lotion back in the day that made me look like an oompa lol so I wasn't sold that I was going to get this right first time around. I'm a makeup artist so I'm big on "trusting the process" but even I was a little bummed to see all the tan color coming off in the shower and not being much darker than I was before, thought maybe I showered too soon even though it was Express 2 hours... howeverrr I remember reading it continues to develop for 24 hours, just didn't believe it. Came to the reviews to see if there was evidence of that, and only a few girls from what I saw said just wait, the tan will come! AND THEY WERE RIGHT, bc baby I am tan this morning. I applied at 7pm, finished applying everything by about 8pm, and showered at 930pm. Woke up at 6am and noticed a big difference even in the dark early morning, eyes half open with no light on. I gave a 4 star instead of the 5, ONLY bc I liked the more olive tone while the tan was initially applied vs the end result that does pick up that slight orangey tone, not too bad though in comparison to a lot of self tanning products I see girlies use. I might just be nitpicking a little because it really is beautiful, just was hoping to be a tiny bit more cool toned. I used the Deluxe face tan by Loving Tan also and contoured over it with a fluffy brush and the Express 2 hour foaming tan and love how my face turned out. Overall though, went really well and I will likely buy again, unless I happen to find something more cool toned.

I've been using self tanners now religiously for like a year. I can say with my most honest opinion this was the absolute worst for the price point.. I am very fair skinned with a pink undertone so I always like a tan that's a little more cool toned to help make me more olive and balance out my pinkness. This tan made me orange.. not only that but it was NOT ultra dark. Despite it saying it is "2 hour express" I washed it off in 2 hours and it was like super light and hardly dark. More medium. The second time I was determined to make it work and left it on overnight. It was slightly darker but the shade it turned me was not what I like and still not dark enough in my opinion to even justify the price. As if it couldn't get ANY worse, it dries my skin out severely.. the mousse is thick and dries so fast if you don't rub it in the area pretty much right away it dries streaky. Do yourself a favor and just don't. There are many other self tanners on the market that are much, much cheaper and much better. The only positive thing I'd have to say is that I feel it may last a little bit longer than others. But it does not fade evenly at all.

I am highly allergic to nuts and this product contains walnut which is not disclosed obviously enough on the packaging. I'm very itchy and disappointed!
