Step 1: Separate and secure your hair from mid-ear to mid-ear.
Step 2: Position the smaller weft along this section, securing with the L&M Scoop and Snap technique. Scoop the clips up to your part line. Snap the clips closed with your thumb and fingers.
Step 3: Separate and secure your hair from temple to temple.
Step 4: Position the larger weft along this section, securing with the Scoop and Snap technique. It's helpful to start with the middle clip and work your way out from corner to corner, scooping and snapping the clips closed.
Step 5: Brush through the extensions and voila!

It looks nice but.....
The hair itself is nice, however no matter how meticulously you place the clips, the size of the clips cause a halo of tufts all around the back of your head. I even talked my friend into trying them as she has little thinner hair than me. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this for anyone with thin hair...

I so wanted to give these a 5 star, especially after spending this kind of money on hair extensions. I like the length and the color of these extensions. It's the first color (Butterscotch) I found that actually matched my hair color. However, I'm not to keen on the product itself. The clips are backwards than normal—they're upside down which don't stay in place, they fall. I'm also unsure if this is real hair as they claim. I've owned other real hair extensions and never have my other extensions STUNK while curling/straightening the hair. IT'S AWEFUL!

I've tried it all literally! I bought these hair extensions at the store I had to get the milky brown because they did not have dark brown in 18 inches. I dyed them, they took the color so it is real hair, they do not feel heavy, i love that the clips are upsides down they grip the hair better, it stays in all day, and if you sleep in them. My hair is 12 inches long for reference and I have to wear my hair half up half down with the 18 inch extensions. Now if i had one more piece I could wear it down, but since it's shorter I need three pieces or wear it half up. they are super thick I was very impressed I went back and got the 12 inch too i love these!
I've used tape-ins for years and these are a nice break
Totally recommend. I use clips in to cycle out my extensions and take a break from the glue with a nice clarifying shampoo and color refresh before applying tape ins again. I got both the ponytail and the clip ins in marshmallow! I love them! I've used clips ins before but this upside clip seems to be easier on my scalp. It doesn't feel so weighted. I liked being able to match the color in store versus trying to buy online to match what I want. Only wish the store carried more color options and lengths. Definitely recommend for anyone with fine hair seeking to supplement with extensions!
Not Quality!!!
Hair left melted traces on my curling iron suggesting a human and synthetic hair blend! Not advertised!!!! Unsatisfied with the false advertising! Clips upside down may seem in theory an idea but a horrible one! Locks and mane clearly did not use or research their product or what constitutes a quality well thought out product! Nor did they resource quality hair poor buy! Learned my lesson
