Intriguing but Flawed...

I recently received this parfum by 1 Million in a 1.5 mL spray capsule and it wasn't my cup of tea. The vanilla fragrance seemed a bit strong for my needs and also once you spray it on, it sticks to your skin like super glue. I'm not a fan of fruity perfumes and even my significant other told me tha...t the smell was a tad overbearing for her tastes. What exactly is this? I can't decide what to make of 1 Million Elixir. Upon initial spray, I get an overwhelming vanilla sweetness along with a quick, pungent, slightly herbaceous sensation that acts as a slap to the cheek and disappears just as quickly. As the scent begins to settle a bit, I get a hint of sour green apple and a bit of rose wafting through. Both remain dominated by vanilla. I agree with the coalition proclaiming that 1 Million Elixir is a very feminine scent. I'm a little flabbergasted that this would be marketed to men. After a few wearings, I detect nothing that is traditionally masculine. 1 Million Elixir feels like a big dump of pure vanilla extract. As you get deeper into the scent, some more green facets emerge, but they're soft and do not express themselves like a typical masculine, aromatic. Despite being a combination of notes that I'd go so far as to describe as luscious and buxom, this Elixir is plenty strong and certainly makes itself known in the immediate area. It's a nice enough smell but makes me imagine meeting a woman dressed to the nines for a first date. So, I can't understand the appeal here. I get there's a huge demand for sweet, masculine scents, but 1 Million Elixir strikes me as a tipping point where the guys are wearing the same banger as the ladies for attention.
