FAQs
What is a paddle brush like this best used for?
The NanoThermic Paddle Brush is best for detangling and smoothing, especially longer or thicker hair. Its wide, flat head and ionic, ball-point bristles cover more hair per stroke, so you need fewer passes.
How is the paddle brush different from the 9-row styling brush in this line?
The Paddle Brush has one wide bristle bed for smoothing and detangling big sections at once, while the 9 Row Styling Brush uses nine rows on a narrower, vented base that's handy for styling while you blow-dry. Pick the paddle for smoothing lengths.
Will this help smooth frizz on thick hair?
Yes, the Paddle Brush's ionic bristles help cut static as you brush, which calms frizz and flyaways on thicker or coarser hair. Brush in sections from the ends up so you smooth without tugging.
Can I use it while blow-drying?
The Paddle Brush is built for detangling and smoothing rather than heat styling, so it works best for a finishing pass while you blow-dry. It isn't a heat-retaining thermal brush; for shaping with heat, a NanoThermic round thermal brush is the better tool.
Is this brush good for everyday detangling?
Yes, the Paddle Brush suits everyday detangling: its ball-point bristles are gentle on the scalp and its wide shape gets through knots quickly. Start at the ends and work up toward the roots.
How do I clean this brush?
To clean the NanoThermic Paddle Brush, wet the brush and use a damp towel to remove trapped hair from the bristles. For a deeper clean, use the Olivia Garden Brush Cleaner to lift out hair and product buildup.

My all time favorite brush!!!
My hair is incredibly thick, coarse, and naturally curly. This brush is able to straighten my hair so well I rarely use my straightener anymore saving my hair from the damaging heat. Love it!!

Rubber Handle catches hair
Too bad this brush has a soft rubber handle grip. I bought it for my daughter who wanted an ionic paddle brush. But she doesn't want to use it because it has a soft rubber grip that catches and pulls the hair if you are not ultra careful when styling. So it's going back. Very hard to find brushe...

Favorite paddle brush
Love it! My third one due to my hound dog counter surfing for new chew toys.
Love this brush!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I was looking for a new brush as the one I have been using for years was discontinued. After researching, I decided to buy this one. I'm so glad I did, I love it!
Brand new and bristles are breaking
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I literally got this brush today and a bristle fell out. Either it fell out after my first use of running it through my hair, or it was already missing. Regardless it's super disappointing considering the price of this brush. Not a good investment.

Have had it for years
I cant believe it but ive had this brush for 8 years now and it's just now showing aigns of needing replaced. Its not the prettiest looking anymorr but i have well gotten my money's worth. Its missing one single bristle. Its so worth the price
It's worth the money
This is the most I have ever spent on a brush and it is worth it. The technology works! No static in my static prone hair.
